Coach Charlie Butterfield
Varsity 1st Assistant
Coach Charlie Butterfield has played an integral part of the Farmington Soccer Program since 2015. He brings a great deal of knowledge through his experience as a top player and coach. As the varsity assistant he plays a key role in the planning and execution of everything on the field. He is a master of scouting opponents, creating game plans, and making in game tactical changes, all while building a positive and professional relationship with all players on the team. Coach Butterfield plays a key role in the positive winning culture of the program.
Prior to joining the Farmington High School Boys Soccer Program Coach Butterfield coached multiple teams. Some of those teams include: head varsity boys coach at Northwest Catholic High School and freshman girls coach at Farmington High School.
Coach Butterfield was a true standout player prior to coaching. He played at the University of Hartford where he was a four year starter and received many accolades including: All-American, three time All-New England, and Conference Player of the Year. In high school Coach Butterfield played for Windsor High School where he was named to the Connecticut All-State Team.
